Our Hero (2000)

Teen comedy series about 17-year-old Kale, a high school student with more than her share of coming-of-age dilemmas. Kale is the daughter of a humorist who embarrasses her by writing about her growing pains in his newspaper column. Kale retaliates with her self-published journal, also known as a "zine," in which she chronicles her hopes, dreams and insecurities. Kale's older brother Ethan is an aspiring comedian.
