| | Pedro Penduko at ang mga Engkantao (2007) Our beloved hero, Pedro Penduko (Matt Evans) is now in college, and together with his Lola Maria (Gloria Romero), he sets out in the big city to hopefully live a normal life. Unfortunately, his life is destined to be far from normal, and as soon as he settles in the boarding house owned by Lolo Pablo, things start to get fishy. You see, Lolo Pablo isn't your average grandfather - he gets visions of spirits! And this time, he sees the frightening demon Kalagua escaping from her cell, determined to wreak havoc on mankind! To secure the success of her plans, she goes forth in a journey to find the chosen Engkantao - half-humans who have uncanny abilities! This chosen Engkantao will then lead her to Floreshka, which she plans to destroy so that all engkantos protecting the human race will be reduced to ashes, ultimately bringing the untimely demise of humankind as well! But who is the chosen Engkantao? Is it the half-Dalaketnon Josef (Oyo Boy Sotto) who has telekinesis? How about the half-Sigben Marie (Maja Salvador), who can be invisible and change form at will? Is it Edward (Arron Villaflor), whose Kataw ancestry enables him to wield water? Or is it the half-Santelmo Moy (Makisig Morales), who has the ability to make large fireballs? Is it the sultry half-Wakwak Dianne? Or maybe, just maybe, it is Pedro himself, son of a farmer and the Floreshkan diwata Bukang Liwayway (Agot Isidro)? Find out this Saturday, May 5, as Pedro Penduko opens with a new book, "Pedro Penduko at ang mga Engkantao"! Also joining this cast are Angelika dela Cruz, Jake Cuenca, Michelle Madrigal, Eda Nolan, Aaron Agassi, Beverly Salviejo, Frank Garcia, Alwyn Uytingco; with the special participation of Cris Daluz and Benjie Felipe!
