Phineas and Ferb (2007) Phineas (Vincent Martella) and Ferb (Thomas Sangster) are stepbrothers who live with Phineas's older sister Candace (Ashley Tisdale), Phineas's mom (Caroline Rhea) and Ferb's dad (Richard O'Brien). The brothers find themselves dissatisfied with just spending their summer vacation outside of school, so they pull off unbelievable and often outlandish stunts (i.e. visiting the moon, building a roller coaster, entering a race car competition, etc.) in order to make summer more exciting. Their sister, Candace, is aware of their activities and tries to tell their mom so it can be put to an end. However, the boys always manage to cover their tracks and leave behind no evidence of their daily activities (whether on purpose or by accident), causing their mother to question Candace's sanity when she tries to prove what her brothers are doing. Phineas is frequently the schemer of the two, and seems to dream up most (if not all) of the plans for the day's activities. Ferb rarely speaks; usually his line (rarely does he say more than a sentence) is a random factoid and comes more towards the end of the episode. Ferb also seems to have incredible mechanical skill; in one episode he builds a roller-coaster almost single-handedly. Candace likes a boy named Jeremy (Mitchel Musso). Because of this, Candace frequently makes a fool of herself in front of him. Jeremy doesn't seem to mind; in fact, it seems that he is completely unaware he is what's causing her to act funny. Phineas and Ferb are often aided in their endeavors by their friend Isabella (Alyson Stoner) (who has a crush on Phineas) and her friends from the Fireside Girls scout group. Phineas's mother apparently was a one-hit wonder in the 1980s, something she has yet to reveal to her children although it is made obvious throughout the episode "Flop Starz". She had a hit single named "I`m Lindana and I Want to Have Fun", a play on the song "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. Meanwhile, Perry, the family's pet platypus, leads a double-life as a secret agent who foils the evil plots of a mad scientist named Dr. Doofenschmirtz (Dan Povenmire). This provides a side story that runs along side the main plot. No one seems to be aware that Perry lives this double-life.
