A question is read to three contestants. The first player to buzz in receives a chance to answer. His answer, plus two additional answers, are revealed to the other players. The remaining two players have the opportunity to select one answer. Points (called spins) are awarded thus: three spins for the player who buzzed in if he has the correct answer, one spin if a player chose the correct answer.Four such rounds are played. Players then receive the opportunity to use their spins on a large electronic game board. The board is divided into twenty squares, each of which revolves rapidly. Squares contain cash amounts, merchandise prizes, and Whammies. The object is for a player to accumulate as much cash and merchandise as possible within his allotted amount of spins without hitting a Whammie (which automatically wipes out all his earnings). The player with the overall highest cash/merchandise score is the winner. |
