Punky Brewster (1984)

Punky Brewster, a 7-year-old who has been abandoned by her parents, brightens the life of crusty Chicago photographer Henry Warnimont after he convinces authorities to let him take her in on a "temporary" basis. Eddie is the maintenance man in the building Henry manages; Cherie and Allen are two of Punky's friends, Margaux is a stuck-up classmate and Mrs. Morton Punky's teacher.
