Raines (2007)

Eccentric L.A.P.D. detective Michael Raines has what some would call a unique ability -- he's able to have detailed conversations with deceased crime victims. With their help, Raines is able to retrace their lives leading up to their murder, in hopes of finding the culprit. Naturally, this causes a bit of friction with his boss, Capt. Daniel Lewis, as well as with fellow officers Remy Boyer, Sally Lance and civilian employee Carolyn. Raines is fortunately aided by ex-L.A.P.D. partner and full-timeconscience Charlie. All the while, Raines struggles to accept his gift (or burden), as it forces him to examine his past.
