| | Ran, The Samurai Girl (2000) Female ronin Ran and her Chinese sidekick, Myao, wander across feudal Japan righting the wrongs and ridding the land of crime and corruption. It is the Edo period, and Ran, a beautiful female ronin wanders through feudal Japan, led only by the changing winds and her insatiable thirst for the finest sake in the land. Accompanying her on her ongoing journey is Myao, the affable and somewhat scatterbrained pugilist from China, and master of the Iron Cat Fist fighting technique. Together, the twosome travel from one high adventure to another, as they right the wrongs and rid the land of corruption and crime, in this whimsical parody of the ever-popular Japanese samurai dramas.
