Ang Tatay ko ay 82 anyos na at mayroon siyang karanasan na hindi kapani-paniwala. Ang pangalan nya ay si Juan Leston.

Mayroon na po akong pahintulot sa kanya na isulat ko sa inyo and kanyang karanasan when he was still a teenager in Ormoc, noon ko pa po sinabi sa kanya eto pero ngayon ko lang naisulat sa inyo. Sana po mabasa ninyo eto.

Kumusta po kayo? sumulat po ako sa inyo para humingi ng tulong para sa mga batang nanganganib na mahinto ang kanilang pag aaral dahil sa balak ng umalis ang mga guro dahil sa walang sweldo..school po ito ng 7thday adventist, parang private po pero mura lang naman ang binabayaran ng mga magulang. Ang sahod po kasi ng mga guro ay kung ilang lang ang kanilang students. Sa ngayon hindi na babayaran ng mga magulang ang tuition at ng mahigit isang taon, balak na po nilang isara ang school ang problema po ay ang school lang na ito ang pwede maaasahan na kahit papaano makapagtapos ng elementary ang mga bata. mag asawa po ang mga gurong ito at magaling silang magturo, dalawa lang sila pero ang hawak nila ay mula grade 1 -grade 6. masisipag sila at sinisikap nilang naturuan ng maayos ang mga bata pero sa ngayon balak na nilang umalis dahil sa hindi rin nila masusupurtahan ang mga anak nila dahil sa hindi naman nakakapagbayad ang mga nanay ng mga mag aaral. tulungan nyo po ang mga bata, based po kasi sa nakikita ko, binibigyan nyo ng importansya ang education dahil sa maramin na po kayong natulungan na mga bata for their studies. Ang lugar po namin ay sa Bry. Tib-o abuyog leyte..isla po ito at malayo sa kabihasnan kaya mahihirapan ang mga bata para sa pag aaral nila...please help them..

Matalino po ang anak ko kaya lang po may pangamba kaming mag-asawa na hindi namin makakayang ibigay lahat ang mga pangangailangan niya sa school nila. May formal schooling din po siya sa kinder garten at 02 consecutive summer class dito po sa SINAG, Kalalake Elementary School, Olongapo City. Gusto sana naming makapag aral siya ng tuloy tuloy this coming school year dito sa Olongapo City. Wala po kasing school na pwedeng mag cater sa klase ng pag-aaral ng mga batang ganito dito po sa amin sa Castillejos. He was seen and diagnosed at Infant Jesus Hospital near UST in 2004 at yun nga po na High Functioning Autism ang diagnose sa kanya. Napaka smart po ng anak ko at gusto din namin po na mag grow siya ng maayos sa kanyang pag-aaral.

I would like to share that my grandparents (my mom's parents) life story as well. My lolo is 107 (this Aug) and my lola is 97. Both are still alive and living with my mom in Davao City. A Letter from my niece Ashley Remigio daughter of Aladdin "Dingdong” Remigio. Kindly read it....

Greetings,

My family and I are appealing to you to help us in our time of need. My three siblings and I have been diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type II (NF2). It is a rare genetic disease characterized by the development of tumors in the region of the brain that transmits sensory information from the inner ear to the brain. Depending on the location, the tumors can affect control, balance, speech, eye movements, facial sensations and most importantly, hearing. Currently, there is no cure for NF2, but the tumors can be surgically removed to stop them from growing anymore and further affecting our health.

Our mother, from whose side we inherited NF2, had already passed away at the age of 27, two months after giving birth to my youngest brother, Lyndon. And also my two uncles, they died one after the other because of the same sickness. After my mother died, my dad sunk into depression. He couldn't work to support us anymore.

Ever since I was young, I had no hearing in my left ear and gradually over the years, I have lost some of my hearing on the right. It has also affected my balance which resulted in my feeling dizzy sometimes. My brother Niccolo, after undergoing surgery last June 13, 2007, has lost hearing on his right ear. My sister, Marie, has undergone surgery on her spinal cord last February 6, 2007 to prevent her from being paraplegic. This affected her left extremities. They are not as strong as they were before and she had to undergo physical therapy for more than a year. My youngest brother Lyndon, after undergoing surgery on the left side of his head this February 6, 2009, has also lost hearing on his left ear.

Our grandparents have taken care of us ever since we were all young. We have never expected this disease to manifest itself too early. Our grandparents have no financial means to meet all the medical costs for the operation and other examinations to help monitor the situation.

This April 27, 2009, Dra. Chiong saw the results of our last MRI. It showed that my eldest brother's tumors had grown at an alarming rate. It had grown 4mm since last May 9, 2008. The doctor said that if they remove the tumor from the left side of his head they also have to implant the Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI) so he could hear again. The device alone would cost us P900, 000 excluding the doctor's fees and hospital expenses. My sister Marie also has to get another operation soon too, because from 1.4cm last year the tumor grew to 1.8cm this year. But the problem is that after Lyndon's operation last February we have no funds left to pay for all the expenses.

All the previous surgeries that my siblings have undergone wouldn't be possible without all the kind hearted people who have helped us. But we still have a long way ahead of us.

For these reasons we would like to ask for your kind assistance. We are appealing to you for help or to donate broken and unrepairable appliances and electrical devices that are ready to be disposed of to us. My grandparents will collect the copper in them and then sell it to junk shops to raise money for the treatments. The money will be deposited to our bank account.

Anything that will be given to us will be highly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance and may the good Lord shower you more of His blessings in the coming years.

All of my Cousin's 4 kids have been diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type II (NF2) Disease. And the sad part is there's no cure for the disease.
