The second season of "Rock Star" finds Motley Crue's Tommy Lee, Metallica's Jason Newsted and Guns N' Roses' Gilby Clarke looking for a frontman (or woman) to help form the newest "super group," Supernova. Lee, Newsted and Clarke take over "couch duty" from members of INXS, joined by returning co-host Dave Narraro. Brooke Burke is also back to introduce each vocalist hopeful. The winner will record an CD with Supernova -- to be co-written and produced by Butch Walker (Avril Lavigne, Pink) -- and will join the band on a world tour in early 2007. The performances will air on Tuesdays, with the "results show" on Wednesdays. |
