Two non-celebrity contestants compete. A large Scrabble board with one word is revealed. A clue, based on one letter of that word, is read. One player selects two numbered tiles and places them in an electronic slot. Two letters of the alphabet are revealed. If the letters are contained in the unknown word, they appear in their appropriate positions on the board.The player continues to select tiles until he guesses the word (at which time a new round begins) or the letter he chooses is not contained in the word. When an incorrect letter is suggested, the opponent receives a chance to play. The first player to guess three words is the winner. |
