A comedy series about Scott, Dennis and Randy, three young friends and roommates in Venice Beach, California, who have semi-celebrity status as hip-hop band, Shasta McNasty. Scott claims singing provides something deep and meaningful for the trio -- access to women. Randy (aka "Ran") was framed for a string of car thefts in Chicago and although his probation ended, keeps wearing his tracking anklet as means of attracting attention. Dennis is not a people person unless the people are babes. The three even stoop to using their dog Dinner to get girls. Scott, Dennis and Randy are content with their lives, as opposed to working hard to cross the threshold into fame and fortune. |
