Adventure series featuring a team of kids on a mission to assist a different animal each week. Using the internet, the kids communicate with an international network of contacts to access information about animals in trouble. The kids travel to different locations around the country and the world, where they make discoveries about the geography and cultures of these places.For the 99-00 season, lead characters Sam, Elissa and Noah intern at an animal refuge center, known as "Kinyonga," their new home base under the direction of Dr. Susan Hosking. The kids demonstrate their emotional connection and determination to rescue animals in need of help in the realistic world of Kinyonga's high pressure ER setting. |
