The Beat (2000)

Officers Zane Marinelli (Mark Ruffalo) and Mike Dorigan (Derek Cecil) are beat cops in New York City's Lower East Side, and their lives are filled with a wild assortment of characters. From catching petty theives to being the first on the scene for murders, Marinelli and Dorigan are two young cops starting their careers -- and just looking to get through each day.
