The Chronicle (2001)

Unemployed journalist Tucker Burns reluctantly takes a job at the "World Chronicle," a tabloid newspaper in New York. Tucker finds out that every bizarre story it prints is true -- and they've got the proof. Joining Tucker in his otherworldly investigations is feisty ace reporter (and multiple alien abductee) Grace Hall and streetwise photographer Wes Freewald. Lending a hand are Tucker's gruff editor Donald Stern and the Chronicle's top researcher, Sal the Pig-Boy, a quirky half-man, half-pig whoworks in the bizarre, secret underground archives.
