The George Carlin Show (1994)

On-again, off-again cab driver George O'Grady's life revoles around a working-class neighborhood on Manhattan's Upper West Side. When he's not dispensing advice, solicited or otherwise from the front stoop of his weather-beaten apartment building, George can usually be found at a run-down neighborhood tavern, the Moylan, owned and operated by likable bartender Jack Donahue. Among the regulars at the Moylan is George's best friend and bookie, "Broadway" Harry Rosetti. Waitress Sydney Paris is smartand beautiful but certain that she will never have the modeling career she covets. The tavern's newest customer is Dr. Neal Beck, whose uppity Upper East Side style clashes with that of the other customers -- especially George.
