The Heights (1992)

A drama series about the working-class members of a fledgling rock band. The band includes lead singer J.T. Banks who works as a garage mechanic to support their efforts; sax player Rita who works for a beer distributor; affluent guitarist Hope Linden; bassist Stan Lee who runs the local pool hall with his father Mr. Mike; keyboardist Lenny who is more interested in experimental sounds than rock songs; and drummer Arthur "Dizzy" Mazelli whose primary concern is his pregnant girlfriend Jodie. Theyhave been recently joined by Alex O'Brien, a loner who has expressed his passion for Rita through song. They try to hold the band and their aspirations together in spite of the obstacles they face in their daily lives.
