The Hoop Life (1999)

Drama series about the conflicts among three professional basketball players on the fictitious New England Knights team: a young black player who turned pro right out of high school; a black veteran player of 15 years known for his aggressive play; and a white superstar center who is a womanizer. Also tracks their relationship with their coach and general manager. All three struggle to survive in the high-stress environment of big money, big egos and overnight fame.
