Chi McBride stars as Desmond Pfeiffer, the key advisor in President Abraham Lincoln's cabinet. Ironically, he is also the chief White House butler. This one-hour drama showcases Pfeiffer as the looney sidekick who influences Lincoln and consoles Lincoln's lovelorn wife, Mary.
