Thundarr the Barbarian (1980)

In the year 1994, a runaway planet crosses between Earth and the moon and unleashes a cosmic chain reaction that destroys both worlds. Two thousand years later, the planet Earth is reborn, but a strange new world emerges from the old: a world of savagery, super science, sorcery, and evil beings bent on ruling the universe. The series depicts the exploits of Thundarr, a slave who broke his bonds and now battles the evils that exist on Earth.
