To Rome With Love (1969)

After his wife dies, Michael Endicott leaves Iowa with his three daughters to accept a teaching position at the American Overseas School in Rome, Italy. His sister, Harriet Endicott also moved to Rome during the first season but returned home to Iowa. Andy Pruitt, Michael's father-in-law, sold his farm in Iowa and went to Rome to visit but ended up moving into the apartment during the second season.
