"Top Design" will showcase 12 of America's hottest designers, artists and architects as they fight for a $100,000 cash prize, a spread in Elle Decor magazine and a 2007 GMC Acadia. During each episode, the contestants -- living together in a West Hollywood, Calif., studio -- will be given a challenge by host Todd Oldham and (much like Tim Gunn on sister series "Project Runway") sent off to sketch their rooms and shop for paints, furniture and other supplies. The finished results will be judged bydesigner Jonathan Adler, Elle Decor editor in chief Margaret Russell, designer Kelly Wearstler and a handful of surprise guests. |
