Hi Atty. Gabby,

Gusto ko pong humingi ng legal advice tungkol sa nangyari sa akin noong December 15, 2009. Bumili po ako ng item, isang arm band worth P39 sa isang mall dito sa Davao at binigyan naman ng issue (temporary receipt) ito ng saleslady. May bibilhin pa akong ibang item kaya hind ko po muna ito binayaran sa cashier. Sa paglalakad ko po ay lumampas ako sa exit ng department store papunta sa estante ng mga cellphones. Ngunit sa paglabas ko po ay sinita na po ako ng watcher at pinasamahan ako sa guard papunta sa kanilang office. Inimbestigahan po ako at sabing ipapa-blotter daw po ako sa police. Ngunit bilang amicable settlement ay pinabayaran sa akin ang item ng sampung beses sa halaga nito. Nagbayad ako ng P390. May ilan po ako ng katanungan sa pangyayaring ito;

1. Sabi po nila ay nag shoplifting po ako, mariin ko po itong itinatanggi kasi hiningian ko naman po ito ng issue sa mula sa saleslady. Isa pa, hindi ko naman po ito ibinulsa o itinago, bitbit ko po ang item kasama ng issue nung makita ako ng watcher.

3. Kailan po ba masasabi na may intensyon mag shoplift ng isang customer? Hindi po ako sa exit ng mall mismo nakita ng watcher kundi sa kaharap lang po ng exit ng department store, sa mga estante ng cellphones. Pwede naman po akong bumalik at bayaran na ito sa cashier.

2. Tama po bang bayaran ko ng sampung beses sa aktwal na halaga ang item na pinagdududahang shinoplift ko? May legal basis po ba ito?

I love to watch Unang Hirit Monday to Saturday, but I always find this part so bias in their opinion, lalo c mareng winie. Katulad kanina puro negative lang ang kanyang mga sinabi , puro against sa martial law in Maguindanao. Di po ba ang talakayan ay pag-uusap sa maganda at mali tungkol sa iba't ibang bagay. Bakit po kanina ay one sided lang pati c Arnold. Dapat cguro ay palitan ang titulo. Napakayabang p ang dating ni Winnie na prang alam n alam nya ang lahat ng nangyayari sa Mindanao. Sana ay maging maingat kayo sa inyong mga binibitiwang salita sapagkat hindi ito nagiging informative bagkos ay nagtatanim ng takot at galit s mga manonood. Bukod dito, Arnold huwag mong ilalagay sa bibig ng nagsasalita ang mga bagay na insunuating, hindi yan opinyon ng nakararami, ginagawa mo lamang yan pra mg apoy ang issue. Akala ko b responsible reporting ang questioning. Huwag sirain ang magandang imahe ng programa. Maganda ung katulad ng pagpapaliwanag ni Atty. Gabby. I was watching today's UH episode on Lyn Ching's giving away books to under privileged kids. Comment lang po. Since mahilig pala sya magbasa ng books baka gusto nya i-consider mag basa ng HOW TO BE A GOOD HOST book. She badly needs it. And not because you are a reader it means you are a good story teller; besisdes, it's not being a reader that matters, it's WHAT you are reading that counts. Sorry but she's a destruction to the show.

I love the morning show promise. You really great all hosts of Unang Hirit from Arnold Clavio and everyone else. Moreover, I would like to commend Monica who is now i guess relieving Regine? Monica, however, is a very good host and lively!.. that is what you people really need in addition to your lively hosts in there.. I wanna know who is Monica and I believe she would be a very good additional asset to your group... so keep her for good if i may suggest... She seems really talented and with sense of humor .. professional on the way she does..

I just want to report a missing person and i am hoping you can help us.

Her name is Salvie "Ambi" Hilotin, female, 25 y/o, mentally incapacitated, with fair complexion, around 5'1" in height, and is living at Brgy. Parian Calamba City Laguna. Lives with their parents beside the railway. They are not a well-off family. Both of her parents are too old to land a stable job. Her mother has a small store beside the BIR building in Calamba and her father rarely works as a carpenter. When her father doesnt have work, he usually takes care of Ambi in their house.

The incident happened last 5th of November 2009 noontime when his father was left in the house to watch over Ambi. Being an old man he fell asleep while watching TV and in a few seconds was startled by the sound of their gate being closed. Thinking that he can still catch up to her because she is still in his sight, he turned off the TV first and grabbed a cap. But when he went outside Ambi was out of sight. He then tried to look for her but Ambi was nowhere to be found. They have informed the police around the area and all the barangay units but up until now there's no clue to her whereabouts. We are still looking for her walking around Calamba asking people and posting pictures of her in every establishments.

I'am hoping that you will read this story and somehow help us in any way that you can.

I chance to see the episode where Mr Drew and Ms Lyn were interviewing a psychologist. Medyo nalito ako dahil ang gulo mag interview nila! Mukang super concious without focusing on the segment. Especially Ms Lyn. Hindi nya alam sinasabi nya kahit nagsasalita na sya (From her own words)! No wonder the other show on kapamilya is better. No offense.
