Everyone has a special, if secret, wish. And Wish Ko Lang! seeks to bring hope to the TV audience by granting some of these wishes every week. Launched by the Kapuso Network in 2002 … Wish Ko Lang! was a television innovation. It was the first reality wish-giving show in the country. In 2003, it won the best public service program award at both the CMMA and the Star Awards for television. Since the program began, hundreds of wishes have been granted -- many of them life-changing -- such as livelihood wishes and the reunions of families who have been separated for decades. |
