Women's Desk (2005) Women’s Desk is a program that aims to inform the public (particularly women and children) of their rights and in turn teach them how they can protect themselves from further abuse. The stories of women and children will be told through a combination of actual footage and re-enactments narrated by the host of the program. One of the highlights of the show will involve actual “rescues” of women and/or children from abusive situations. When needed, the program will link women and child victims with organizations that advocate the protection of women’s and children’s rights in order to ensure their safety. Women’s Desk also seeks to give hope to victims by sharing with them “survivor” stories and by showing them ways to move on from the abuse.
