i watched your show everyday it's very nice and enjoyable watching your show.I wish i could go to your show.Please tell me how i can wathed the show.

We never bragged how intelligent we
are,we don't have to mention what we
can do...that we are experts in drugs
more than anybody else..we are
scientists..chemistry geniuses...sad
thing,little do Filipinos know about
these...no wonder,most Filipino
pharmacists go abroad where we find
the prestige of our profession...where
we'll hear patients say "my
pharmacist" after our names,the same
way they address "my doctor" to their
MDs...
...to those who never used their heads
before they speak...poor you. to those
who don't understand, try to
learn..and to those who think they're
just so great,..i dare you to try
pharmaceutical courses..i bet you'll
not even finish 1st sem. and to
Willie,... i suggest you start taking
the 5th grade..tsktsk..long way before

THIS IS A RE-POST:

Last week, ang mga contestant sa
Wowowee eh mga valedictorian students.
willie revillame asked these honor
students what they are planning to
take when they go to college. The
first girl said, "Nursing pappy".
Willie Revilamme was all AWS and WOWs
to her. So is the audience. Parang
everyone is thinking na it was the
best choice. And I have no problem
about that, eh un ang gusto nila. at
marami rin akong kaibigang nurses.

Then, ung next contestant, tinanong
din ni Willie. Sabi nung
contestant, "Pharmacy po". And guess
what WIllie said in reply to that. Ang
sabi nya, "BAKIT IHA, GUSTO MO
MAGBENTA NG GAMOT SA MERCURY DRUG?"
Everybody was laughing. Willie then
followed up his statement and said "OR
GUSTO MO PUMUNTA SA MGA DUKTOR, PARANG
DOOR TO DOOR, PARA MAGBENTA NG
GAMOT?". Clearly, he is making fun of
our profession.

Of course, one should not expect so
much from willie. I just felt that for
as long as people like him are not
enlightened, we will remained as
GLORIFIED SALESMEN/SALESLADY as they
thought we are.

Many people don't realize that even
their mouthwash are prepared, analyzed
and designed by pharmacist. That when
they are hospitalized, the mere
responsibility of the nurses is to
administer drugs - that there are
other people that they do not see, who
also helps to provide them the cure
they are longing. That we earned just
above the minimum but we are over
educated people whose knowledge is
under utilized by the conception of
patients that we are just but
salesmen. That we are professionals
and yet nobody knows that.

In college, halos lahat ng premed
courses eh natouch ng curriculum
natin. Zoology and botany - BS BIO,
Microbio - BS MEDTECH, Health Care
(AHSE) - BS NURSING. So parang
natikman na rin natin lahat ng premed
courses plus ung mga subject na
exclusive saten. At ndi biro ang
course naten. Sobrang ndi,
pharmacology pa lang balde baldeng
dugo na lumabas sa ilong ko.

The heck. Although at least our tv
exposure is not limited to selling
drugs. hehehe, in a soap opera of ABS
CBN, LOBO, one character is a
pharmacist and no, he doesnt work in a
drugstore. Im thinking he is actually
designing something of a drug para
mawala pagka lobo ni angel.

To answer your question, no I don't
mind being called PHARMACIST LANG
tayo. I am hurt but I dont mind. Mind
over Matter, if you dont mind then it
should not matter. haha. they have all
the right to think of us that way.
Kung salesman lang tingin nila, no
problem. Its not their fault they lack
the knowledge. WHAT TO DO? Let's do
our share of work and prove them
wrong. Do ourself justice. Kasi kung
ano man ang preception nila, at some
extent, tayo din ang may gawa nun.

I am a pharmacist, I am not rich.
But hey, being a pharmacist is not a
job, a lucrative job at that. Its a
profession. A calling. I may not be
earning the 18 thou a month these
callcenter agents are getting
but I am happy.

we just hope Willie didn't affect
the girl's decision to take pharmacy
in college...
after all, it takes a great mind to be
a pharmacy student and one brave and
brilliant soul to b a phrmcst

hello...good afternoon..gusto ko lang sana sabihin kay willie na sana maging patas siya sa lahat..lagi kaming nanunuod ng mama koh, cuzins and sisters ng Wowowee...kasi maraming mga taong napapasaya..ngunit may problema...hindi nagiging patas si willie sa mga bata...DAHIL SANA KUNG ANG MGA BATA ANG MAGLALARO SA TIGASIN SANA SA BIGA10 MGA BATA DIN...DAHIL PAG ANG MGA MATATANDA ANG NAGLALARO SA TIGASIN AY WALANG BATANG NAKAKASALI SA BIGA10...HINDI NAMAN YATA PATAS YON PARA SA MGA BATA..MUKHANG KAKAWA LANG SILA..HINDI KO ALAM KUNG ANONG DATE YONG MGA BATA ANG NAGLALARO ANG SA BIGATIN 5 NA MATATANDA TAPOS 5 DIN NA MGA BATA..HNDI NAMAN SIGURO PATAS YON KUNG IISIPIN NATIN MATATLO TALAGA ANG MGA BATA NG MATATANDA...SANA MAGING PATAS NAMAN KAYO...MARAMING SALAMAT PO..AT NANDITO PARIN KAMI SUMUSUPORTA SA INYO..

Natuwa ako dun sa feature niyong matanda na 102 years old din. Dito sa Alfonso meron din kami at siya ay lola ng husband ko name niya ay si Ceferina "Lola Cefi" Monteverde.Masaya siyang kausap, hindi masyadong bingi palakuwento, napakalinaw pa ng mata sa pagbabasa ng mga diyaryo, di ito nauubusan ng kuwento at maalam siyang kumanta ng mga kundiman songs... di rin siya huli pag nagpromise kami na mga apo niya na pupunta kami sa kanila tiyak aabangan niya kami. Mahilig siyang manood ng Wowowie kasama ang biyenan kong babae na 75 years old na rin.Alam niyo po ang nakagisnan ko ng pagkain niya ay isdang tilapia at bangus lang na prito, and then konting sabaw ng gulay... di ito nawawalan ng atsara pag kumain. Si Lola ay magbibirthday sa August 26, 2008, Sana bago man lang siya kunin ng ating Panginoon ay makita niya ang sarili niya sa Wowowie..Sana po tugunin niyo ang aking kahilingan. Wowowee is a very entertaining show and i love when some of our people try to help u well.that's awesome.about our gov't officials how can they be a leader when some of them don't even know how to speak tagalog.are'nt they get embarras when(i watch the show harapan one official said he have to speak english because he's ilocano dunno how to sprak tagalog.feel sorry for him.

The easy way to get in to Wowowee is through hook ups. You have to know someone that works in ABS-CBN. The only way we got in to Wowowee show was my cousin. She knows some executive producer that works in ABS. We were on the second row of the line, but you have to be in ABS station about 5hrs before the show starts. It is not fun to wait that long, it's worth it after all.

Please base the questions on the players' ability to answer the question. I always watch the show but it is not fair for those kids to be playing against the adults, especially with the English and Tagalog translations. Yes, I like to see those poor kids have a chance to play and win, but at the same time hate to see them guessing. You can tell that they are not educated enough to know the answers, nor are fluent enough with English to even understand the question. Pitting them against the older players is highly unfair.

my mom will be coming to the phils. this april and she wants to watch your show Wowowee, she always watch the show in new jersey. but the problem is i dont know how to get a pass for the tfc subscribers. and also in ASAP '08. hope to get a response soon..... thanks
