You Can't Do That on Television (1979)

For a while, the shining star of Nickelodeon. You Can't Do That on Television features kids/amateur actors as sketch comics in funny and bizarre skits. While the first six years were arguably the best, with Lisa, the show's host, "You Can't Do That's" decade long run attests to its success with the kids. Especially popular is the green slime.
