| 6th Golden Screen Awards will take place on April 30![]() Author: Rose Garcia Bukas ng gabi, April 30, magaganap sa Metro Bar West Avenue ang 6th Golden Screen Awards for Movies ng Entertainment Press Society (Enpress). Sa ganap na alas-6 ng gabi maihahayag kung sino-sino ang mag-uuwi ng tropeo para sa mga pinakamahuhusay sa pagganap at teknikal sa pelikula ng taong 2008. Ang magsisilbing mga hosts sa 6th Golden Screen Awards for Movies ay sina Boy Abunda, Eugene Domingo, Chokoleit at BB Gandanghari. Inaasahang dadalo ang mga nominado sa iba't ibang kategorya at ang mga bibigyan ng natatanging parangal para sa taong ito ng GSA. Ang beteranong artista na si Ms. Anita Linda ang tatanggap ng Gawad Lino Brocka Achievement Award. At bibigyan din ng posthumous award ang namayapang Master Rapper ng bansa na si Francis Magalona. Sa kategoryang Best Motion Picture-Drama, halos mga independently produced films ang mga nominado. Ito ay ang Boses, Brutus, Concerto, Jay at 100 na pawang mga Cinemalaya entry. Bagong kategorya naman ang Best Motion Picture-Animation na ang maglalaban ay ang dalawang local animation produced film last year na Urduja at Dayo.
