A wedding, a suicide and a hostage drama

As promised, "Adik Sa'Yo" turned out to be more than just your typical love story, providing viewers with a crazy, colorful, not to mention a fresh, exploration of love and believing in one's destiny.

And as it draws to an end this week, the circumstances surrounding the lives of Ruben, Karen, Carlos, and Joana – the respective characters played by Dennis Trillo, Jennica Garcia, Marvin Agustin, and Jolina Magdangal in GMA-7's romantic comedy series – becomes crazier and more rib-tickling than ever.

Ruben (Dennis Trillo) and Karen (Jennica Garcia) are back in each other's arms but Liza (Chynna Ortaleza), Karen and Joana's (Jolina Magdangal) supposedly half-sister, has gone complete haywire and will do everything to keep them apart.

Joana and Carlos' (Marvin Agustin) relationship, on the other hand, is still as hazy as when they were still starting out. So Joana attempts to woo Carlos with a singing telegram.

Joana will also learn of Fatima's (Eugene Domingo) true colors and will be forced to make her mother choose between seeking revenge and keeping her daughter. Meanwhile, more drama will unfold as Liza's half-crazed mother returns to create further damage in the mansion.

And if that's not enough, expect a suicide incident, a hostage drama, and a surprise ending to fill the last episodes of "Adik Sa 'Yo."

"Adik Sa'Yo" also stars Pauleen Luna, Wendell Ramos, Joey Marquez, Elizabth Oropesa, Chanda Romero, Charisse Solomon, Iwa Motto, John Lapus, Ces Quesada, Luz Valdez, German Moreno, Benjie Paras, Vanes del Moral, Sandy Talag, Mosang, Tony Mabesa, Jim Pebangco, and with the special participation of the Sexbomb dancers, and is directed by Joel C. Lamangan.

It airs weeknights after "Rosalinda" on GMA.
