In entertainment, "Maalaala Mo Kaya's" "Jail" episode also received a finalist certificate. "XXX" co-anchor Henry Omaga Diaz, who accepted the award for ABS-CBN said, the recognition proved that Filipino television journalists and practitioners are at par with the world's best. This year, the New York Festivals' TV Broadcasting Awards received entries from 32 countries. For the last 48 years, the international competition has been honoring the world's most outstanding news, documentary, information and entertainment programming, music videos, infomercials, promotion spots, openings and IDs.
