Ai Ai on rift with James: 'Ayoko na, tapos na eh.' Author: Bernie Franco After publicly saying her apologies to Kris Aquino's husband, basketball player James Yap, Ai Ai de las Alas refused to talk anymore about the issue when she was interviewed recently during the pictorial of her upcoming movie, Star Cinema's Metro Manila Film Fest entry Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat. "Ayoko na, tapos na eh," the comedy concert queen said. The comedienne said sorry to James on The Buzz two weeks ago, when she appeared as guest co-host. Ai Ai and James had a gap at the time the cager's marriage with Kris was on the rocks because an alleged illicit affair. Being Kris's friend, Ai Ai publicly defended Kris and went to the point of saying James should go home to his mom. Kris later confessed that Ai Ai's comment generated many heated arguments between her and James. After Ai Ai said her apologies, Kris on her end explained that she could also not comment about Ai Ai's apology to avoid more trouble from arising between her and James. Meanwhile, Ai Ai just cheerfully dished about her new movie. She said that although Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat is the sequel of the blockbuster hit Ang Tanging Ina, she still feels nervous. "Hindi naman nawawala 'yun. Sa lahat ng pelikula na ako ang bida andun pa rin 'yung takot kaya parati na lang akong nagdarasal," she shared. Ai Ai said that in the movie she will be playing the both the roles of a mother and the president of the Philippines. "'Yung mga bata nagsilakihan na, iba na 'yung mga problema namin. Isang major development is ako na yung presidente ng Republika ng Pilipinas," she elaborated. She also added that two original cast members, namely Marvin Agustin and Heart Evangelista who played the role of two of her kids, will not be in the film anymore.
