IT is not only the viewers of Volta: The Series who will miss the TV show topbilled by Ai Ai delas Alas but the Comedy Concert Queen herself.

It was only sometime in January that Volta premiered on the boob tube, signaling Ai Ai's return to TV screens after a long absence. But even if Ai Ai would have wanted Volta to last for a year, as she said during Volta's presscon, the series bowed out of the scene after only 13 weeks or so in the air.

She admits that she has become quite attached, and emotionally involved in her character as the electricity-charged heroine.

"This role is special to me, kasi nag-grow 'yung character. Kung dati naghahanap lang siya ng acceptance and love si Perla, now she's contented with her own family and will do everything to protect them. She also discovered that her kids also have superpowers like her," says Ai Ai.

Unfortunately, Volta's super powers were not enough to keep the show on the air for a longer period of time. After waiting for more than a year to have a solo show, Ai Ai's show lasted only for a season. It was tough luck indeed for the comedy concert queen.
KEANNA JOINS 'SHALL WE DANCE'

PINOY Big Brother 1st Celebrity Big Winner Keanna Reeves joins the dance show Shall We Dance - Celebrity Showdown Batch 3 on ABC 5 starting March 23. Keanna will compete with other celebrity contenders like Michelle Madrigal, Jen Rosendahl, Teri Onor, and Glock 9.

Shall We Dance is hosted by Lucy Torres-Gomez with Dominic Ochoa as co-host.

Although the sexy actress is known for her hilarious antics and comic timing, Keanna can also pit acting talents with today's dramatic stars in top-rating teleseryes. Now, watch a different side of Keanna as she grooves to the beat of swing, tango, foxtrot, waltz, boogie, cha-cha, and salsa.

"I am very excited dahil ibang Keanna ang mapapanood ng mga tao sa Shall We Dance. I am working very hard to practice every dance move para patunayan na kaya ko ring sumayaw. I learned many kinds of dances while preparing for the dance show. Sana manalo ako," she says.

LUIS CAN BE AS DARING AS DINGDONG

CAN Luis Manzano be as daring as Dingdong Dantes who is now the new endorser of Bench Body? Can he also do a daring pictorial in his undies?

"I have been offered before to endorse an underwear line for Human so if ever I will be offered to do an underwear pictorial, it's no big deal. I can do it," says Luis who posed naked for Cosmopolitan, with only a door covering his private parts. And he didn't put on plaster. It's okay for him to do an underwear pictorial.

"Okay naman sa akin na mag-pose na naka-underwear, basta nasa kundisyon ang aking katawan," added Luis.

"If ever I would do such kind of pictorial, I should look okay and I should be at my best. I wouldn't mind doing an underwear pictorial, huwag lang sigurong thong or t-front ang ipasusuot nila sa akin," he said.

HOTBABE SHOCKED BY SCARLET'S DEATH

FORMER Viva Hot Babe Anna Scott was shocked with the violent death fellow Viva Hot Babe Scarlet Garcia Anna is being managed by former actor Emil Sandoval, who also appears in "Joaquin Burdado," topbilled by Robin Padilla and Iza Calzado.

Anna is one of the new additions to the cast of "Joaquin Burdado. " She met Scarlet when they became members of Viva Hot Babes in 2006. They also appeared together in the Pinoy Kamasutra video and did a pictorial for FHM Magazine two years ago, the same year that they became Viva Hot Babes members,

"Ngayon ko lang nalaman ang nangyari sa kanya. Kinilabutan nga ako nang malaman ko na pinatay pala siya," Anna told reporters Friday. She plans to go to the wake of Scarlet in Olongapo. Even if they haven't seen each other for a long time, Anna says she and Scarlet became quite close after working together as Viva Hot Babes members.

She also added that she wants to help Scarlet's family so she plans to talk to some friends in the National Bureau of Investigation to offer assistance in investigating Scarlet's death. According to her friends in NBI, they are willing to extend a helping hand.

Anna plays an archeologist in "Joaquin Burdado" and she's thrilled with the opportunity given her to work with Robin and the rest of the cast of the top-rating series. She's also very happy to be given the chance to work in GMA 7.
