| Alfred bothered by sex videoAuthor: Remy Umerez THE Internet has become the showroom for celebrities caught in their most intimate poses. But don't get fooled because most of these 'celebrities' are merely look-alikes. A case in point is that of Hammerhead hunk Alfred Vargas who is alluded to as the one seen in a sex video playing with himself or masturbating. Alfred has seen it and is not at all amused. "Walang kalidad ang pagkakakuha kaya masama ang loob ko. It is so amateurish and they should have gotten somebody na kamukhang-kamukha ko," he says humoring himself. "Actually, old issue na itong sex video on me. It surfaced when I posed nude for my coffee table book. Binubuhay na naman nila ito ngayon. " In Startalk, LJ Reyes said she was aware of it but hasn't seen the video yet. She also said that Alfred has not brought up the subject of marriage. "I don't think we are both ready for it. Pareho kaming maraming plano para sa aming respective careers. At lalong hindi po totoo na ipinagpapagawa niya ako ng bahay. " Alfred is the type of a person who doesn't brag about acquired properties. But this we know. He dreams of owning a house in La Vista subdivision. He bought a property there which up to now the actor is paying for. He is working hard to be able to construct his dream house. Alfred is also very consistent in saying that he intends to settle down or get married at the age 30. That's five years from now. The actor leaves October 1 for the United States with his brother for a well-deserved vacation. He will be away for two weeks. For one who is a huge fan of Manny Pacquiao, he will definitely watch the much-awaited fight between Pacquiao and Antonio Barrera on October 6. HAPPY AND SAD The very successful StarStruck find is back at Regal grounds for Bahay Kubo. "2007 has been very kind to me. I have been blessed with good projects and I am never without any assignments. I hope this will continue," he says. For the record, Fantastikman is bidding its televiewers adieu with a very high rating. From its conception and until today, it is placed high on the rating chart. COMING FULL CIRCLE Rachel and Archie have really come full circle. They both started in the 80s and Archie was the man behind her first album called Kailan. Years later, they bumped into each other abroad and did another album with the remake of a Raymond Lauchengco hit, I Need You Back. But the call of a normal family life was such she didn't really have time to promote the album and sold its rights posthaste to Viva Records. On the same decade, she became Binibining Pilipinas Ms. Young International, then marriage beckoned and she stayed abroad to raise kids which made singing only a second priority. Eleven years later after her marriage to John Spitalleta and after four handsome kids, she discovered there is life waiting to be actively filled. She now has ample time to return to the passion of her life-music. Rachel credits her mom, Annie Brazil as a solid example of someone who loves music and never stopped. "At age 73, my mom is the only Filipina who continues to have a following in a regular jazz joint in New York. "I am not saying I can be like her but she is one example of one who heeded the call of music and stuck to it through good and hard times. In that sense, I like the way I have become. " Rachel 's Cool CD is very contemporary, a mix of R&B, hip hop, jazz and club sounds. It is released under Manna Records and distributed by Sony BMG. Source: People's Journal |
