Aljur gets indecent proposals

RUMOR has it that young hunk Aljur Abrenica is getting a lot of offers for sexual favors from gays and matrons through text, casual talks and e-mails. And they're talking about offers running to millions of pesos, dahlings.

Others are said to be even tempting him with cars like Hummer, Benz and Jaguar. Oh, well. .. this was after he was seen in a sexy ramp walk during the Cosmo Bachelors Bash. But Aljur is used to things like this. He despise them as just sweet talks, and he says even if they're for real, he'd rather work the hard way.

Aljur says he'd rather concentrate on his career. He's now busy with the promo of his first movie with leading lady Kris Bernal, "Nandito Ako...Nagmamahal Sa'Yo" under Regal Films. This is their biggest break so far and he and Kris are doing their best to draw people to watch it. This is a real good movie, very romantic, very sane, well directed (by no less than Maryo J. de los Reyes) and shot in an awesome location.

TOUGH ACT TO FOLLOW FOR DINGDONG

Dingdong Dantes knows that what the lead actor Kwon Sang Woo has done in the original Stairway to Heaven series is a tough act to follow. The Korean actor has created a huge following in Asia due to his performance. It was a real tearjerker and Dingdong, who's been known as a romantic leading man, must make an effort to be a good dramatic actor in his new role as Cholo.

This is aside from the fact that it is his first time with Rhian Ramos as a romantic pair. They should really make an extra effort to make their characters so in love with each other. In "Stairway," the characters of Cholo (Dingdong) and Jodi (Rhian) are so virginal, unlike in "Dyesebel" where Dingdong and leading lady, Marian Rivera were more fleshy and passionate. But Dingdong says he will give his best for the role.

In fact, the trailer of the series shows so much promise. We will not be surprised that viewers will think that Dingdong is truly in love with Rhian, and vice versa. We will not be surprised, too, if another questionable romance blooms in the next season.

DOG CHALLENGE CONTINUES

IN tonight's "Bilib Ka Ba Nights... Wow Hayop," hosts Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola play the role of New York doctors. Meanwhile, in the continuing dog challenge, David and his Russel terrier dog Elvis are the latest pair to be eliminated from the Canine Academy.

The episode's theme is about personality, where the dog bone challenge, "take it or leave it" will test how well the owners know their dogs. Another interesting story to follow is Brandy's reaction on Travis and Laura's sudden closeness. Is she getting jealous of Laura? "Wow Hayop" follows immediately after "Shining Inheritance" on GMA7.

JACKY IS BACK

JAPANESE actor-producer, Jacky Woo is back in "Bubble Gang" on Friday night. Jacky has a natural flair for comedy, thus he is one of the most favorite guests of the staff and cast of "Bubble Gang. "

Jacky will be seen with Michelle Madrigal in some segments. Meanwhile, there will be new comedy sketches with funny Pinoy situations, new TV commercial spoofs, and jokes to rip off your funny bones, especially with Ogie Alcasid as Angelina and Michael V as Yaya.

"Bubble Gang" is also composed of Rufa Mae Quinto, Wendell Ramos, Antonio Aquitania, and Maureen Larrazabal.
