| All My Life and The Wedding debut to high ratingsAuthor: Malaya The warring networks new shows both enjoyed high ratings in their initial airing. GMAs "All My Life," aired at 6 weeknights, got more than 23 percent on its debut last June 29, according to AGB Neilsen. Meanwhile, AGB Nielsen registered a high 21 for ABS-CBNs "The Wedding," aired at 10 p.m. The high ratings of the new GMA-7 primetime show "All My Life" augurs well for the loveteam of Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal. This is Aljur and Kris biggest break after appearing as second lead to bigger stars until they hit it big with the afternoon audience via "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?" Aljur and Kris get to play characters closer to their real ages in "All My Life," GMAs 59th anniversary presentation directed by Mac Alejandre and Andoy Ranay. They are childhood friends who lose touch after their families have a falling out. When they meet again, romantic feelings surface but they have to hurdle a lot of challenges, including their families ill feelings ftowards the other. Meanwhile, ABS-CBNs "The Wedding" is a romantic-comedy headlined by the bubbly and beautiful Anne Curtis who is torn between two Romeos Derek Ramsay and Zanjoe Marudo. This is Annes big television comeback after winning her first movie acting award for her performance in "Baler" and her top-rating "Dyosa." In "The Wedding," Anne plays the role of rich girl Candice, who dreams of having the perfect wedding with her dream guy Warren (Derek Ramsay). However, he had to leave for the States. Candice never gave up on this dream, but when she found her parents (Michael de Mesa and Eula Valdez) marriage falling apart, she makes a plan to make her folks stay together: be engaged with someone her parents will never approve of Marlon (Zanjoe Marudo), a construction worker in Candices familys construction firm. "The elements that people love about Koreanovelas the pace, humor, romance they will find here, but The Wedding is an original concept."
