They all came to support their colleague and friend Francis Magalona in a fund drive to raise money for his expensive and intensive treatment of leukemia.

Zirkoh Timog was full-packed not only with Francis M's showbiz buddies but his fans and admirers as well.

However, Magalona was not around because he had to retire to bed and sleep early.

It was TV co-host Allan K who thought of the second show for the rapper.

"Allan wants to help Francis very much. Besides, it's his birthday," said Malou Choa-Fagar, Magalona's TV producer.

"Francis is doing great. As a matter of fact, he had just finished a series of chemo treatments and it helps him a lot," said Toni Rose Gayda, a close friend of the Magalonas because her mom Rosa Rosal is a contemporary and friend of Francis' late parents Tita Duran and Pancho Magalona.

Allan K hoped he could raise enough funds for his ailing co-host. "Sana makatulong ito nang malaki kay Kiko," he said.

Hours before the show, Francis was quoted as saying he is in very stable condition except for pains in his joints which are the effects of the chemotherapy.

Singer and actor Janno Gibbs never tires of helping Kiko. "Kasama rin ako sa unang benefit show para kay Kiko. Mabait siya, kaya kailangan niya ng tulong," said Gibbs. Despite his busy schedule and bad cold, Gibbs made it to the birthday concert for a cause.

Rappers all over the country gathered to pay tribute to their idol through a video feature and live performances.

Sexbomb Girl Rochelle Pangilinan performed a rap number with her dancers. "Si Kuya Francis po ang nakaimpluwensiya ng rap music sa akin kaya nag-record ako ng rap at hindi siya mapapahiya sa akin," she said.

Julia Clarete, however hectic her work sked is, managed to squeeze in her bouncy dancing and singing talents. The same goes for Aiza Seguerra who had been practically touring around Metro Manila the whole day before the benefit.

"This is for Kuya Francis, my idol," said Seguerra.

Bayani Agbayani, a close friend of Kiko, was also there. "Gagawin ko ang lahat para sa kaibigan ko," stressed Bayani who did his eternal "Ocho-Ocho" with gusto.

Comic Michael V. and TV host Pia Guanio also shared their talents for the charity show. Bitoy cracked jokes while Guanio rendered her version of "Umbrella."

The EB Babes also did a dance number for their Kuya Kiko.

It was too bad that Magalona was not around to witness the love showered on him by his co-workers in the industry.
