What do you think Andrea del Rosario, Sheree, Myles Hernandez and Valerie Concepcion have in common?

The decision makers behind the Anito project are in the midst of selection for one of them to play a barren wife in the movie.

Anito, a drama film that tells a daring story, is a breather for action director Edgardo �Boy� Vinarao. Allen Dizon plays husband, who with his wife resorts to anything just to have a child in a shaky marriage.

Direk Boy directs from the screenplay of Celso de Guzman. He�s getting ready for principal photography in September.

Scriptwriter Dennis Evangelista is currently revising the script of Paupahan and they are right now in the midst of re-casting the project.

The original cast included Gloria Romero, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Kaye Abad, Allen Dizon, Anita Linda, Mona Lisa and Ina Raymundo.

Is it for good luck that the director wants to remain incognito, until his cameras start rolling? Surely, it�s star-studded.

Piolo Pascual is always open to new things: Making it as a drama actor upon his return to showbiz Lagarista, Star Cinema�s favorite leading man, as member of the defunct Hunks, singer and recording artist, a favorite commercial endorser.

One reason why he�s open to new projects. Like Cathy Camarillo�s digital movie Chopsuey, already in the can. Last year, he did a short film for Cesar Hernando, Pagkagat ng Dilim, on the rebels in the hills.

"Para sa akin, the story�s the thing," Piolo explains. "Let�s see if it fits into my schedule, ang talent fee, hindi na pinag-uusapan `yon. Lalo pa kung indie films, I know these filmmakers need help."

After doing Chopsuey, Piolo admits he has some scripts now for him to read. "Baka sakali magustuhan ko raw."

Unjust vexation is a small crime of �annoyance, torment, irritation, distress or disturbance� but this is news when this happens between former friends.

Melanie Marquez as New Placenta endorser filed an unjust vexation cause against Richard Hinola who allegedly misrepresented her to be an endorser of another product.

Last Feb. 20, 2007, Melanie withdrew her complaint, "hoping that Hinola would stop annoying or vexing me."

You know what happened next? Last July 17 and July 26, articles were published in two tabloids (not Abante), with the title "Melanie Marquez talo sa kaso vs. talent manager."

"Hindi ganoon `yon," says Melanie. "He is again annoying me with lies."

Result: Last July 31, Melanie once more filed a new case of unjust vexation against Richard Hinola for this �annoyance� in Makati.

This reminds me of what my father used to say: "Even if you spill a plate of spaghetti on your friend�s new suit, it�s all right to him since you are his friend. But if you hate the fellow, even how he combs his hair will irk you."
