Angel, Anne organize auction for a cause

DUE TO recent calamities, Kapamilya stars Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis have been busy with project -- an online auction for a cause -- in which proceeds will go directly to Red Cross.

"This is not just an ABS-CBN event because we are encouraging all artists to come and donate," Angel said.

Celebrities who have donated in www.shopandshare.ph include Kapuso stars Richard and Raymond Gutierrez, Maxene Magalona, Dennis Trillo, Marian River, and Dingdong Dantes.

Kapamilya supporters include Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Jake Cuenca, Piolo Pascual, Pokwang, Yeng Constantino, and KC Concepcion.

Former flames of the two, Sam Milby and Luis Manzano, have also pledged support.

"Just tell us and we will go wherever you are to take pictures. It's all gonna go to a good cause," Anne said.

Dimples Romana and Kris Aquino are also providing big support for the auction.

"We are celebrities who have been exceptionally blessed by your love and support. We witnessed for ourselves the devastation, brought about by 'Ondoy' and 'Pepeng.' We felt compelled to share not just our voices and our time, but from our own closets. These items have meaning in our lives and now they'll become even more meaningful because they'll help rebuild broken homes and broken dreams," Kris's opening message in the www.shopandshare.ph read.

Featured items in the auction include a Hermes Kelly bag from Angel, a Burberry bag from Anne, Louis Vuitton shoes from Pokwang, and a Louis Vuitton handbag from Kris.

Soon to be on the scheduled auction is Fendi shades from Heart Evangelista and a cocktail dress from Isabelle Daza.

All kinds of bags, clothes, accessories and others are welcome.

"I have a friend who just heard about it and she offered to donate a Husky puppy," Anne shared. Those who wish to donate money meawhile can do so through Paypal.
