AMERICAN Idol winner David David Achuleta's first Christmas album includes a number recorded by Charice Pempengco.

While Imelda Papin, dubbed as the Sentimental Songstress, agree na napakahusay ngang performer ni Charice, still, ang feeling niya, napakasuwerte nito for having the most popular and influential international TV host Oprah Winfrey for her backer.

Even Oprah herself, according to Imelda, can produce several albums and concerts for Charice. But she obviously believes daw Charice to make through, wika nga, the professional channel.

Kung sabagay, without Oprah, posible kayang nakilala ni Charice ang international at equally influential record producer and impresario na si David Foster?

Now nga naman, it's David, no less, who is in-charge of Charice's international recording and singing career.

Kung sabagay, Imelda, on her own, is doing well in her international career as recording star and concert performer. 'Di nga ba at isa siya sa mga Filipino singer na itinuturing na 'toast' of Las Vegas?

Naka-schedule nga sana si Imelda to perform in a concert kagabi sa PICC with international singing and recording icon Melissa Manchester.

Sayang nga at na-reschedule ito. Yes, sa December 18 in Cebu at Dec. 19 sa PICC.

However, Imelda has chosen to stay here to help promote her CD, Voice of Heart, which has elicitied praises in the U. S. At take note, not hindi lang ito hit sa Filipino community, kundi sa mga nakarinig na sa songs niya na in-air in her own radio program, The Imelda Papin Voice of the Heart, every Sunday, 2 to 4 p. m. , on KLAV AM radio sa U. S.

KAHIT 'wala na' sila ni Luis Manzano, Angel Locsin obviously still knows what is proper.

We were not surprised when we learned that on the day the movie In My Life had its premiere at Trinoma and SM Megamall, she sent not just Luis Manzano but also his mom, Governor Vilma Santos and, of course, John Lloyd Cruz a congratulatory card and flowers.

Like Luis, Angel has remained firm in her wish to keep silent about their much-publicized breakup.

Somebody close to Luis said duda siya. Sa years daw kasi na naging close siya sa binata nina Ate Vi at Edu Manzano, wala raw siyang alam na babaing na-link dito (tatlo din daw ito na pawang 'di taga-showbiz) na binalikan ni Luis.

Kung sabagay, kanino pa nga raw ba magmamana si Luis? Ang alam daw niya, sa dami ng lalaking na-involve kay Ate Vi (she admits in interviews na 'di nga sila mabilang sabay tawa), wala raw itong binalikan.

In Edu's case, nang magkabalikan sila ni Rina Samson, saka sila nagkaanak ng dalawa, sina Adi at Enzo.
