Annabelle bent on suing PEP

Annabelle Rama is bent on pursuing a case against the website Philippine Entertainment Portal for that 'inadvertent uploading' of an article supposedly involving son Richard Gutierrez, Michael Flores and Epi Quizon during the birthday party of "Zorro" director Mark Reyes last March 28. The feisty manager and matriarch to the Gutierrez clan also confirmed that Richard is filing a separate case against PEP.

PEP has already issued an apology in its website and the article was pulled out two hours after it was posted. The Gutierrez clan is not happy with how the apology was made as what they need is a categorical statement that what was written did not actually happen.

NOT ALJUR, SAYS RICH

Rich Asuncion insists she and Aljur Abrenica are just friends.

The First Princess of Starstruck IV and also first runner up in the recent Binibining Pilipinas 2009 is back in the showbiz grind and waiting for her project from GMA. Meanwhile, she is regularly seen in the Sunday party show "SOP" Rules. She is also undergoing acting workshop given by GMA Artist Center under the tutelage of Joel Lamangan.

Rich just laughed when we teased her about Aljur last Wednesday night at Tomas Morato. She admits she has a boyfriend now but it's not Aljur. As for the other rumor that she and Aljur's "Paano Ba ang Mangarap" leading lady Kris Bernal are not on speaking terms, she said it's not true either as they're very good friends.

OLD VS NEW RATINGS

THERE must be a delay in the dissemination of ratings of ABS primetime shows to still write that the Primetime Bida line up is now gaining fast over the Telebabad block of GMA. As of last week, all primetime shows of GMA have won over its competition starting with Family Feud all the way to Fated to Love You. This is based on the Mega Manila ratings from the official ratings provider AGB Nielsen.

This is especially true in the third team up of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, "Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang" being telecast after "Totoy Bato" and going against "Tayong Dalawa. " The Marian-Dingdong love team has already and consistently beaten the younger combination of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson as far as the ratings are concerned; the official one. TD beating ABHSAT is so old news already.
