STAR talaga itong si Charice Pempengco. Hindi ng Star Records, her recording firm, ha, kundi sa pagkakaroon ng talent manager na si Oprah as far as international commitments are concerned.

Yes, the Oprah Winfrey of Hollywood. The alleged pinaka-popular at pinakamayamang tv host the world over.

No less than our good friend, advertising man and show promoter Gelo Serrano (who co-owns Infinite Ideas with Icel Argana), ang naka-discover tungkol dito.

May booking kasi siya for Charice sa abroad. Kaya pumunta siya sa Star Records para itanong ang details tungkol dito.

He is now an author of the book, his first book, At Large, At Leisure.

An educator, Nestor is formerly a member of the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Santo Tomas, where he is also coordinator of its Journalism Department.

His book, ani Nestor, is his humble offering to students of Journalism and Mass Communication.

All the articles contained in the book first came out in Panorama, the Sunday magazine ng Manila Bulletin. The cover drawing ay gawa ni Michael Blanco. Its book design naman is by Bong Bundang.

An awardee of several journalism awards, Nestor is the recipient of the grand prize in Primer Premio de Periodismo ng Instituto Cervantes in 2000; first prize sa La Sallian Scholarum Awards for coverage of youth and education issues in 2007; and 1977 PATAS Award (Philippine Academy of Television Arts and Sciences) for outstanding writer in a documentary program.
