Anne deserving of 'Dyosa' tag

RUMORS abound that "Pinoy Dream Academy" co-hosts, Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil, are getting very, very close. Often, they are seen leaving Kuya's house together.

Billy, however, said that he actually just brought Nikki home once.

Anne Curtis and Sam Milby, on the other hand, admit that they are one hot couple. At the presscon of their first teleserye together, "Dyosa," Sam was forthright when the question of who he considers as his "Dyosa" in real life. His quick reply: "Anne."

In "Dyosa," Anne plays three characters: Dyosa Cielo (Sky), Dyosa Tierra (Land) and Dyosa Aqua (Water). Two other much-sought leading men, are paired with her: Luis Manzano and Sam Milby.

Others in the cast are Epi Quizon, Jacklyn Jose, Carlos Morales, Lloyd Samartino, Maricar de Mesa, Vice Ganda, Rubi Rubi and Jojit Lorenzo.

We wonder if reports are true that the role of Dyesebel, played by Marian Rivera on GMA 7, was first offered to Anne.

She reportedly begged off, though, as she prefers to do Dyosa.

"I cannot think of any other young star who is worthy to be 'Dyosa' than Anne," said Wenn Deramas , who is at the helm of "Dyosa." "She's not only beautiful but she is very talented as well."

Direk Wenn and Anne worked together in the series, "Kampanerang Kuba."

Dingdong Dantes is, no doubt, on a winning streak. Not only does he have a top-rated teleserye, he also has become a much in-demand endorser.

Dingdong's most recent endorsement is as the Belo-Shape Model of the Belo Medical Group. Belo-Shape is a special and unique combination of treatments to tighten skin and remove fat.

But even before he became a Belo endorser, Dingdong revealed that he already used to frequent the Belo Clinic in Greenhills. "Just to have my pimples pricked," he said.

Although the Belo staff wanted him to avail their services for free, Dingdong said that he insisted on paying.

It was Karylle's mom, Zsa Zsa Padilla, who encouraged him to take on the offer of Dr. Vicky Belo to be the one of her medical clinic's endorsers. This was when Zsa Zsa learned that Dingdong could not get rid of his love handles despite rigid workouts in the gym.

It was because of Belo-Shape that Dingdong acquired his near-perfect body, which earned him the tag "No. 1 Bachelor of 2007" of Cosmopolitan Magazine. He is also the highest-paid underwear model of a famous clothing line.

Where his lovelife is concerned, it seems Dingdong very content. He thinks he has a happy relationship with Karylle.

Both college graduates of Ateneo University, Dingdong and Karylle have discovered they have lot of things in common.

They are both confident and passionate, too, with whatever they are doing.

Currently, they are business partners. They own Centerstage Café and KTV near Morato in Quezon City. And only recently, they opened a new branch on Jupiter street in Makati City.

Too bad that when Aga Muhlach and Bayani Agbayani were in Toronto, Canada, for a performance with fellow cast members of "That's My Doc," Roderick Paulate and Precious Lara Quigaman, they were not able to meet Nikki Valdez, who just gave birth to her first child last July 29.

Nikki, who used to co-star with Aga and Bayani in the sitcom, "Ok Fine.Whatever," now resides in Canada with husband Chris Lina. They were married here on July 7, 2007.

Aga and company were in Toronto from July 21 to July 28.

The group had a field day shooting an episode in Toronto before finally coming home.

This particular episode will be aired this Saturday, 6 to 6:45 p.m., on ABS-CBN.
