Coincidentally, Richard and I have the same birth dateApril 7, so I guess theres a psychic connection between the two of us. Richard is now running for the Senate as an independent candidate, and I wish him all the luck. Yet, the list of stars born in the sunniest month of the year in this part of the planet is getting longer. And I am so glad that a lot of them are doing very well in their chosen field of endeavor. Star Magic, probably the biggest talent management agency in the country today, recently hosted a press do for April birthday celebrants. SHARLENE SAN PEDRO Sharlene was discovered in Star Circle Kids Quest where she became the first runner-up. After the talent search, she became one of Star Magics busiest kids. Aside from her TV guestings, she was very lucky to be part of regular shows. She starred as one of the leads of Mga Anghel Na Walang Langit, Callalily and Goin Bulilit. ABS-CBN recognizes talent so Sharlene was never without a project under her home studio. Her latest TV appearance was when she played the young Shaina Magdayao in Rounin. Sharlene is looking forward to her new project with Judy Ann Santos where she plays the young Aiza Seguerra in Ysabella. The eldest of two siblings, Sharlene celebrated her 8th birthday last April 9. KHAYECEE ABOLOC Khayecee turned eight last April 9. She was part of the top 10 contestants of the Star Circle Kids Quest Batch 1 and luckily became part of the shows Mga Anghel Na Walang Langit as the daughter of Alma Moreno and Gulong ng Palad as the daughter of Amy Perez. She has also appeared in the movie Happily Ever After. This young actress did several TV commercials such as Jollibee, Kraft Chunky Chunks, Colgate, Magnolia Chocolate, Smart Link and Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdog. Recently, she was seen as the young Erich Gonzales in the top-rating primetime teleserye Sana Maulit Muli. Dino was an in-demand commercial model even before he was launched as one of the members of Star Circle 13. He is the groups bet for dancing and hosting. He hopes to be doing challenging roles like his idol Johnny Depp. He is regularly seen in the youth-oriented show Star Magic Presents Abt Ur Luv as bill where he is paired with Empress Schuck. He has been busy doing provincial mall shows and was a part of the latest Coke commercial. He turned 19 last April 9. SERGIO GARCIA Sergio, who has just graduated from St. Marks, Parañaque, turned 17 last April 10. He is one of the original Star Magic pool of kids as he was part of Ang TV where his talent for dancing and singing was developed. Later on, he became a member of the multi-awarded dance group Animé which was regularly seen in Asap. His last regular shows were Spirits and Asap. He was a semi-regular in Sa Piling Mo as Raphael Martinezs friend and recently appeared in Abt Ur Luv. Malaya is one of Star Magics vamps who can also be a bet for singing and dancing. She regularly guested in Asap and became part of TV specials of ABS-CBN. She is part of the all-girl group of Star Magic artists called Koolchicks. Her biggest break so far is being tapped to be a North America MYX VJ. She was given two segments namely OMG and Bang. She also modeled in billboards and posters for Folded and Hung in their Street Cast campaign. A potential recording artist, Malaya celebrated her 19th birthday last April 13 at Prince of Jaipur with her friends. BEA NICOLAS Because of her convincing performances in several movies, she was nominated as Famas Best Child Performer in Laro sa Baga where she played the role of the young Ara Mina. She was also the young Judy Ann Santos in Sabel. She also appeared in several TV commercials like UFC Catsup, Payless, McDonalds and PLDT. She plays the young Solana in Rounin and was part of Panday (First World) wherein she played Henia, the daughter of Ian de Leon. Bea turned 13 years old last April 15 and is an incoming second year high school student at St. Michaels College. She is the schools president for Social Club and a member of the Michaelan Theater and Dance Company. RYAN RAMOS This tall and good-looking guy has been with Star Magic for more than two years already. He was seen in various TV shows in ABS-CBN such as It Might Be You and Crazy For U. He may not be visible in television shows in his home studio but keeps himself busy with three shows in UNTV. He is a regular host for shows like Pilipinas Gising Ka Na Ba?, the live magazine sitcom Kami Naman and the sports show Sports 37. He celebrated his 25th birthday last April 25. He hopes to be part of a new show very soon. FRANZEN FAJARDO Franzen was one of the most favored housemates in the first Pinoy Big Brother. This wacky guy from Valenzuela was very lucky to be part of several shows in ABS-CBN right after PBB. He was one of the regulars of Gudtym and one of the leads in the first Love Spell. He was also in the Star Cinema movie D Lucky Ones where he played the role of Jose, Joseph Bitangcols friend. An endorser of Harvard USA, he is regularly seen in Trip na Trip as one of the hosts. He will soon be seen in Maria Flordeluna where he plays the school janitor. He celebrated his 25th birthday on Asap 07 along with his good friends from PBB. Kathleen graduated from Thames with a degree in Entrepreneurship. Shes busy with her business but hopes to be active again on television. She starred in various movies and TV programs. She was Claudine Barrettos best friend in her last regular TV show, Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin and was part of Wag Kang Lilingon and Lady Boxers. She also modeled for last years April issue of FHM. She is also busy being the procurement officer for a campaign of a senatorial bet. Kathleen turned 26 last April 21. MHYCO AQUINO Another member of the multi-awarded group Animé, Mhyco is now 18 years old. He celebrated his birthday last April 26. He appeared regularly in Asaps Full Circle segment along with co-Star Magic stars. He, together with Hazel Ann Mendoza, was part of the top four love teams in the Qpids love team search. From then on, their love team was followed by loyal fans, paving the way to their regular show, Gulong ng Palad. He will soon appear in ABS-CBNs new TV series, Rounin. Jayson became an instant celebrity when he became part of the first Pinoy Big Brothers Top Four. This Batangueño was very fortunate to be a regular of Gudtym and Sa Piling Mo. He also did the movie You Got Me as Sam Milbys friend. Jason is one of the many endorsers of Harvard USA and Touch Mobile. Happy and contented with all the blessings, Jayson is seen in Trip na Trip as one of the hosts and the sitcom Aalog-alog. He is also a segment host for the new season of PBB and a semi-regular of Kabuhayang Swak na Swak. Jayson turned 27 on April 27. ALLYZON LUALHATI Allyzon started her career when she was eight years old. She was part of youth-oriented show Gmik. She again worked with Angelica Panganiban in Vietnam Rose as a contravida. She is about to graduate this year from the University of Santo Tomas. Aside from acting, Allyzon is a part of events organizing team called Events Ave. She is a member of the Thomasian Film Circle where they do independent films and photography.
