| | Bea scared without Lloydie? Author: Trina Lagura Column: Entertainment MANILA - Actress Bea Alonzo was initially apprehensive to do film projects without her long-time on-screen partner, actor John Lloyd Cruz. The "And I Love You So" star said she is not embarrassed to publicly admit this fear. "It's a natural feeling para sa isang artista na mahiwalay sa love team niya na matagal na. At ngayon lang siya mahihiwalay," Alonzo told ABS-CBN News. In 2003, Alonzo and Cruz were first teamed up on hit television show "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay." They also worked together in box-office hits "Now That I Have You," "Close To You," and "One More Chance," among others. In "And I Love You So," the actress, this time, was paired with two actors - Derek Ramsay and Sam Milby. She said she was able to overcome her fear through the help of director Laurenti Dyogi, the scriptwriters and her co-actors. She said she had a blast shooting the movie. "Ang dami kong natutunan... Of course, bonus kung kumita but mas interesado ako sa ganda ng pelikula, sa quality ng pelikula," Alonzo said. "And I Love You So" tells the story of a young widow (Alonzo) who meets a new man (Milby) shortly after the death of her husband (Ramsay). It will be shown in theaters starting August 12. -ABS-CBNNEWS.com Source: ABS-CBN News |
