2009 is a big year for one of the country's most respected authorities in hair and makeup as it celebrates 20 years of upholding excellence among Philippine salon professionals.

For two decades now, Hair Asia has been relentlessly working towards elevating the country's marginalized hairdressing industry by facilitating the advancement of haircutting skills and proficiencies, promoting the status of hairdressers as valuable members of the Philippine workforce, directing attention to the internationally-competitive talents of Filipino hairstylists, and providing support and aid to disadvantaged members of the industry's initiatives which have helped fortify the nation's beauty and personal care industry in terms of regard and revenues.

On Monday, March 9, Hair Asia toasts these accomplishments during the 19th National Open Championship for Hairstyling and Makeup Competition at the World Trade Center, Roxas Blvd. , Manila, a mega-event that will long be remembered for its dazzling production numbers and celebrity guest appearances, amazing demonstrations, stunning hair shows, fierce competitions, and much, much more.
