Celebrities take on the role of Pinoy Big Brother Housemates

Being in front of the camera is a walk in the park for most of these Showbiz Stars. But nearly everyone agreed that facing the Big Brother Cameras was a totally different experience.

This was the sentiment of the 12 celebrities who entered and stayed inside the Big Brother House on Thursday to experience the extraordinary “Pinoy Big Brother Lifestyle.” Among the celebrities who playedthe role of housemates for the show were Asia Agcaoli, Giselle Sanchez, John Lapus, Ricky Davao, Michelle Bayle, Domonic Ochoa, Chinggay Andrada, Louie Villaruz, Aiza Marquez and others.

Before they entered the house, the celebrities were briefed about the house rules, which caused anxiety to most of them. Their luggages were also carefully inspected since mobile phones and possible writing tools are not allowed inside the house. Among those confiscated by the Big Brother Facilitators were the lipsticks of John Lapus.

The stars spent their time inside the house by performing different tasks and challenges. Some of them complained about the strict house rules. Veteran Actor Ricky Davao had a hard time following the comfort room schedule since he was having LBM yesterday. The housemate celebrities also had to share on a single comfort room, which Aiza Marquez found uncomfortable. “Siguro sa loob ng isang araw, matitiis namin na hindi mag-CR,” She said.

After spending 24 hours inside the house, the celebrities went out at around 11AM today and had mixed reactions to their Big Brother Expereince. When asked if she can stay inside for 100 days, Comedian Giselle Sanchez said “Masyadong Powerful, four days lang ang kaya ko.”

The group of showbiz personalities is the 2nd batch of test contestants for Pinoy Big Brother, last Wednesday, a group of entertainment writers also got a chance to experience the Big Brother Lifestyle. The Show will premiere this Sunday on ABS-CBN. Viewers will get to see for the first time the real 12 housemates who will enter the house and live there for 100 days. They will be welcomed by Kapamilya Stars in a grand street fiesta event dubbed as “Ang Party ni Kuya.” This will be shown Live on ABS-CBN at 8pm on August 21.
