REMEMBER Claudine Trillo? Yes, of the Trillo family identified with the Duty Free Shops?

Well, Claudine on her own made a name in showbiz, as she was for a time a co-host of a morning show on ABS-CBN.

But what actually contributed a lot to her popularity as a showbiz persona was her romantic involvement with Zoren Legaspi, now the husband of Carmina Villaroel.

Claudine herself eventually married top cager Jason Webb, who is a brother of TV newscaster, Pinky Webb. Jason and Pinky’s dad is former Senator Freddie Webb, a former basketball star, too.

Claudine and Jason are parents to two children.

Not everyone knows that for two years now, she and Jason have been separated. In fact, there are reports that she is now playing beautiful music with the son of a politician.

The guy, a graduate of a university in Queensland, Australia is reportedly in the construction business.

Claudine is still active as a TV host. She hosts the show, "One Morning," which can be seen simultaneously on Channels 4, 9 and 13.

Comedians Pokwang and Pooh’s first business together, the beauty parlor called Salon de Poohkwang, was blessed and inaugurated Monday (May 18).

The salon is located on West Avenue, Quezon City. It is very near St. Vincent School.

Celebrity friends of the duo who came included Valerie Concepcion and Vice Ganda.

"We will be open for franchise soon," said Pooh. "Ang pangarap kasi naming ni Pokwang ay magkaroon ng many branches angparlor namin.

"Kasi, the more parlor we have, the more din na mgabeauticians at manikurista ang magkakatrabaho."

Sharon Cuneta left Monday (May 18) for a series of concerts in the US and Canada.

She left with husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, and their three children, KC (Concepcion), Frankie and Miel.

"Since classes will start soon," said Sharon, "Kiko will be returning with Frankie and Miel earlier. Maiiwanan sa akin si KC, who will be performing with me."

Before she left, Sharon launched her first much-awaited children’s album under Sony Music Entertainment, "Children’s Rhymes and Lullabies."

"About this album," Sharon related, "I cooked this up with Kiko. We were actually thinking of songs which Frankie (8 years old) and Miel (6) would enjoy listening to. Gusto namin, a mixture of Tagalog and English songs.

"Then, we figured that if the two of us believed in the necessity of having a collection of songs of this kind for our children, there must be a number of parents who would appreciate having their children listen to these songs, too.

"Thus, the decision that I do an album of children’s songs. Songs that will appeal to parents and children not only in our homeland but to Filipino parents and children all over the world."

At the launch were Sharon’s sisters-in-law, Maricel Laxa, who brought along her three children, and Vicky Pangilinan and good friends Jobet Reyes and Phillip Cuazon, who owns two McDonald’s outlets.

All in all, there are 17 songs featured in the album, including the now popular Nido Fortified Milk theme song, called "You Are Number One," which Sharon sings with daughters Frankie and Miel.

Was Pops Fernandez off-limits at the concert of "American Idol" champ David Cook and his runner-up David Archuleta, which was produced by her ex, Jomari Yllana, and Raymund Singson?

Was she invited at all to the reportedly very successful event?

Well, we heard that whether invited or not, she would not have come as she is currently abroad for a performance.

In interviews, Pops confessed that she is still hurting. But, like Jomari, she has started to move on.

Now, how soon either of them will fall in love again is still the big question.
