ABS-CBN's newest drama actress Cristine Reyes shared her experiences with the late young actor Marky Cielo.

Reyes, who has worked with Cielo, said she was really shocked with the sudden death of the actor.

"At first, noong nabalitan ko 'yon, na-shock ako at hindi ako makapaniwala. Napakabata pa niya at napakabait niya," she said.

Cielo, the StarStruck 3 Ultimate Survivor, died Sunday, December 7. An initial report says that Cielo, 20, died in his sleep.

The actress said that for a while, she became close to Cielo since they were partners in some acting workshops.

"Nag-she-share share kaming dalawa, so naging close din kami," she added.

Reyes also remembered Cielo as a young man who's really quiet and very nice.

The actress said she already visited the wake of Cielo in Antipolo where she was able to talk to Cielo's mother.

When asked for her reaction to reports that Cielo allegedly committed suicide, Reyes replied: "Well, kung mayroon man or something, hindi ako ang dapat magsalita doon kasi wala din akong alam. Sa personality niya, I don't think so kasi napakabait niya.

Reyes, who is currently busy with her first title role series in "Eva Fonda," is also a regular in the weekly, all-female gag show "Banana Split," with Valerie Concepcion, Roxanne Guinoo, and Angelica Panganiban.
