| Die Another Day![]() Author: AXN Asia Singapore, 14 July 2009 - CSI: Miami 6's cliffhanger finale etched an unforgettable picture into the mourning hearts of viewers - those trademark 'Justice Shades' shattered in the setting rays of the sun, as a gunned-down Horatio Caine (David Caruso) lay cold in his own pool of blood on the rough airport tarmac. Who shot Caine? Was he dead for real? Get the answers to the swirl of endless questions in the premiere of the all new season 7, coming this August first and exclusively on AXN! Excitement ran high in the US when CSI: Miami Season 7 premiered, with the episode ranking #1 in its timeslot among adults 18-54, surpassing its year-on-year premiere ratings by as much as 14%! Shot with a panting urgency, the beginning of the premiere episode kept viewers on their toes as to who might have murdered Caine and the clueless CSI team aggrieved over their loss. First responder on the scene, Detective Ryan Wolfe (Jonathan Togo), confirms that Caine is so indisputably dead that he has already released the body, away from the prying eyes and hands of not just the press, but also Caine's own relentless CSI team. The devastated, frenzied CSI crew cannot believe this - and struggling through shuddering emotion, pull together to use their forensic techniques, for the first time, against the word of their own friends, colleagues and superiors. Finally, they uncover that Caine lives... as well as his biggest, most ambitious scam yet, culminating in an explosive climax. Developments of this season are close to Caine's heart, with Caine staging his own death to flush out thug Ron Saris (Kim Coastes), who Caine has a personal stake in pursuing; as Ron co-habits with his nearest and dearest, his son Kyle (Evan Ellingson) and Kyle's mother Julia (Elizabeth Berkley). An emotionally unstable Julia also begins to skip her bipolar medication, squandering most of her money and going on a dangerous downwards spiral. To complicate things further, Julia and Kyle are also implicated in a homicide case, throwing more pressure on Caine to keep his family safe, in a race against time. Also to look out for are the deadlier and nastier crime cases in this season; murder victims are stabbed in the brain, boiled alive and killed in brutal grenade attacks, while a 200-foot crane crashes into a Miami high-rise, putting the CSIs themselves in jeopardy. The CSI team also gets a dose of larger-than-life drama on reality TV when a reality star is murdered on set. What delivers a more intimate hit is the betrayal from one of Caine's team members, executed at the risk of endangering an innocent, young life. Fresh eye candy appears this season in the form of new series regular, medical examiner Dr. Tara Price (Megalyn Echikunwoke, The 4400) and special guest stars like rap mogul P.Diddy and Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess). One bullet changes all the rules. Live by Caine's rules this season and survive the odds gloriously, with CSI: Miami getting more brilliant, more brazen, and more mind-blowing to watch! Don't miss the stunning new season of CSI: Miami premiering first and exclusively on AXN this Aug!
