| Diether dismisses death threat, confirms breakup with KristineColumn: Entertainment Actor Diether Ocampo said he's not worried about a death threat issued against him by a still unidentified person. He told ABS-CBN's "The Buzz" on Sunday that he has no enemies and did nothing wrong. "May tumawag kasi sa bahay ng mom ko. Ang nakasagot yung kasama niya sa bahay. [May death threat pero] hindi ko sineseryoso. Wala akong kaaway, wala akong ginagawang masama. Naapektuhan talaga pamilya ko, especially my mom," the actor said. Diether also denied a rumor that he wrecked someone's car in a jealous rage--supposedly over actress and longtime on-and-off girlfried Kristine Hermosa. In fact, Diether finally went all the way and admitted that he and Kristine are no longer lovers. After more than a year of speculation in the entertainment press, the actor finally came clean on "The Buzz" about his relationship with Kristine. "We're not together anymore. Hindi kami nagkabalikan. At this point masasabi ko na medyo mahirap... we're moving on. Magiging mabuting magkaibigan muna kami," he said. Diether also recalled that he asked Kristine once and for all about what to do with their love affair. "As far as i can remember, I asked her one time, 'are you willing to work this out?' I'm willing to give it [my] all," he said. He also remembers the answer Kristine gave him, "I'm not ready." Diether explained that both he and Kristine sill have issues to deal with individually, and that they could never have a proper relationship unless they resolve their personal problems first. He admitted however that he couldn't help but hope against hope during a fashion shoot he did in Boracay recently with Kristine. "That one medyo okay na kami nun. We really had fun [when] we had a fashion shoot. Well, I was, di ko maitatanggi na sumagi sa isip ko na umasa," he said. (We were really okay together at the fashion shoot. To be honest, I really couldn't help but hope in my mind that we could get back together someday.) Recalling the challenges he and Kristine faced in the past few years, however, made the actor admit that it's still not the right time for romance.
