Column: HighSpeed THIRD TIME AROUND - The hottest loveteam in Philippine television, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, is back the third time around in 'Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang,' which airs starting tonight on GMA. It comes after their well-received pairing in 'Marimar' and 'Dyesebel,' which established them as the most popular tandem on the boob tube.
It's easy to see why this is so. Dingdong and Marian has that undefinable spark - that chemistry, electricity, rapport. And the magic, if it can be called that, extends beyond the screen. Offcam, they also blend, making people say, "Of course, they're in love. They don't have to say so. Their body language says it all."
'Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang' was written by Komiks King Carlo J. Caparas in 1974 and adapted in 1981 for the big screen, topbilled by Eddie Rodriguez and Vivian Velez. It tells of the romance of a rich and accomplished man (Homer) and a mysterious and daring woman (Proserpina). It has drama, action, suspense and, of course, romance, lots of it. Source: Tempo |
